Greenwood Village, Colorado
This exterior renovation project transformed a dated suburban hotel with a new souring, visible and contemporary statement of entry. In addition to the front porte cochere, two other entrances were reinvented to provide easily distinguished access to meeting and event functions and the atrium restaurant and bar.
Overgrown junipers were removed and esplanade landscaping was redesigned to expose a forgotten water feature and to encourage access and connection from the building to this natural asset.
Substatial planning, zoning and other jurisdictional review and approvals were accomplished. And, without original drawings, extensive evaluation and analysis of marginal existing structural systems was required as the various building components were exposed.
